Kyrie Irving Posts A Video Wearing Basketball Sneakers Amid Rumors Suggesting He Could Return To The Court Soon

Recent reports suggest Kyrie Irving could be close to making his return to the court to boost the Brooklyn Nets’ championship hopes amid a season full of struggles for Steve Nash, Kevin Durant, James Harden, and co.

The Nets were considered championship favorites with Kyrie on the roster. Yet, given his refusal to take the covid-19 vaccine, the player was banned from all team activities, as they won’t allow Kyrie to become a part-time player.

That said, Shams Charania of The Athletic recently claimed that Kyrie could return this season and not sit out as most people believed.

“It remains unclear whether Irving’s potential return this season would come via vaccination to meet New York City’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement or by Brooklyn opening the door for him to play road games and practice at home, but sources have indicated a renewed belief that Irving could play this season after all. Nets players and coaches want to have Irving rejoin the team as soon as possible.”

Hours after the report surfaced, Kyrie fueled the rumors with a curious video on Instagram. The 2016 NBA champion posted a video of himself wearing basketball shoes, which could be the biggest hint he’s offered about a possible return to the court.

This could be a major update for the Nets and the entire NBA. Love him or hate him, Kyrie is an important presence in the league. The point guard will instantly improve the Nets’ level and help James Harden, who has struggled to discover his role on the team without Irving.

Moreover, Kyrie and Kevin Durant have reportedly increased communications about their fit on the team, which only points out that we’re close to watching Kyrie back in action at Barclays Center. Just when people thought he wouldn’t play this season at all, Irving’s update hints the opposite.

However, some people want to know how the situation will be solved, as nobody has explained what Kyrie will do to return to the court.
