The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most iconic NBA franchises in the history of the league. Evidently, the organization’s rich past attracts superstar talents as well. As of now, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the two big names donning the Purple and Gold jerseys on a regular basis.

So far this season, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been in sensational form. But despite that, many believe that the Lakers have failed the duo due to not providing much depth around them. It is obvious from the fact that the Lakers still have a 13-16 record even after James and AD playing elite level of basketball.

Now, things have just gotten worse for the Lakers as Davis is expected to miss significant time due to a foot injury. This is certainly a bummer for the Los Angeles Lakers, and the next few weeks will be incredibly crucial for the team.

LeBron James Looks Frustrated With The Lakers Front Office And Rob Pelinka

The current general manager of the Lakers, Rob Pelinka, made big promises to James about building a great team around him. But it’s safe to say that Pelinka hasn’t really fulfilled that promise to the King.

Following the Lakers’ most recent victory against the Washington Wizards, James was asked about his thoughts on how the organization will be moving forward with its trade plans after Davis’ injury.

Not a question for me. I have no idea. When I’m playing, I show up. Prepare and work and get my guys ready to go win a basketball game. I play the game, I’m not in the front office. We’ll see. I’m focused on the game and just trying to win basketball games, especially when I’m on the floor.”

As James explained, this is certainly not a question that needs to be asked him. In fact, James apparently wanted the media to ask Rob Pelinka this question instead of him.

Afterwards, LeBron implored the media to ask Rob Pelinka the same question.

Moreover, according to recent rumors, the Lakers have already changed their trade plans following the foot injury of Anthony Davis. Many believe the Lakers may already be out of contention to advance to the playoffs as well. After all, they have placed all of their hopes on James, who is in the 20th season of his NBA career.
