It is safe to say that LeBron James is not a happy man at the moment. While LeBron had a lot to be unhappy about earlier on, in terms of the roster surrounding him this season, it pales in comparison to his anger at the officials right now.

The Los Angeles Lakers were on the receiving end of a terrible no-call on Saturday night against the Boston Celtics, as the officials missed a clear foul on James as he went up for the game-winner. The Lakers expressed their frustrations with the officials after the game and LeBron took to Twitter, later on, to state that it hurt big time. The Lakers have had it rough when it comes to officiating in recent weeks and when a fan on Twitter pointed out the calls that have gone against the Lakers, LeBron once again fired a shot at the officials.

” ‍♂️!!! I don’t understand. I truly don’t”

The NBA stated in its L2M report that the officials got it wrong in 3 of these instances. The officials admitted right after the game that LeBron was fouled by Jayson Tatum and it was confirmed by the report later as well. As for the rest, LeBron was fouled by Christian Wood at the end of the 1st overtime against the Mavericks earlier this month, but there was no call. Kendrick Nunn was fouled on a three-pointer against the Kings which would have tied the game, but again, the referees didn’t call it. The Joel Embiid play on Russell Westbrook was the only one here where the L2M said there was no foul, as the contact was deemed marginal.

The NBA Referees Put Out A Statement After Missed Call On LeBron James

The referees have come under fire all season and they have been blasted from all corners after this latest blunder. They put out a statement that said that everyone makes mistakes and added that this one will cause them sleepless nights. You try to be fair to the referees as it is a very difficult job but you can’t have too much sympathy for them when obvious calls are missed.

There was an official standing right in front of the play when LeBron got fouled by Tatum and he didn’t call it for whatever reason. Their admitting after the game that they messed up does nothing for the Lakers, as it doesn’t change the outcome.
