At times, it feels like LeBron James is not human and he is simply a machine. Even after turning 38 years old, LeBron is yet to show any major signs of slowing down. In fact, after his birthday, James has seemingly gotten even better and helped the Los Angeles Lakers in winning several games.

Although in the absence of LeBron James, the Lakers ended up losing against the Denver Nuggets in their most recent matchup. Through week 12 of the 2022-23 NBA season, James had already proved his worth.

As a result, for week 12 of the season, LeBron was named NBA Player of the Week in the Western Conference. During this span, the King averaged a stunning 35.0 PPG, 8.7 RPG, and 7.7 APG while helping the Lakers get a 3-0 record.

Amidst several trade rumors about James potentially leaving the Lakers this summer, it’s certainly a breath of fresh air for the Los Angeles Lakers fans and LeBron himself.

LeBron James’ Simple Reaction To Being Named NBA’s Player Of The Week

Winning the NBA Player of the Week honor is nothing new for the 38-year-old. Last season, when he took home that honor back in December 2021, he further extended his lead with most NBA Player of the Week awards. He previously held the record by receiving the honor 65 times.

Now, taking his most recent one into account, he now leads the race with 66 awards, and the next closest person to him is Kobe Bryant, who won the honor 33 times. Anyway, after being named NBA’s Player of the Week for the 66th time, James decided to post a one-word reaction on his Instagram.

James wrote “blessed” in the caption of his Instagram post, and he couldn’t have explained it better. Although LeBron was talking about him being blessed after winning the award, the fans are equally blessed to see James dominate the NBA for 20 years.
