Joel Embiid is having yet another outstanding season for the Philadelphia 76ers. The star big man ranks second in the league in scoring at 33.5 PPG which is a career-high and is also hauling in 9.8 RPG.

His play has helped the Sixers keep pace with the likes of the Boston Celtics and they are definitely in the race to grab that top seed by the end of the season. Embiid has also never been shy when it comes to expressing his emotions on the court and a video recently went viral of him making a goat-like sound while celebrating.

NBA fans reacted to the video and started comparisons right away.

He got compared to quite a few animals there and also to Miss France, who recently went viral for the way she shouted her country’s name. By the looks of it, Embiid will fit right in with his new country after he got French citizenship.

Brian Windhorst Says MVP Voters Don’t Like Joel Embiid

With Embiid continuing to dominate, he is in the MVP conversation once again, after finishing runner-up in 2021 and 2022 to Nikola Jokic. Sixers legend Julius Erving says Embiid will win MVP this season but Brian Windhorst isn’t sure about that.

Windhorst stated that MVP voters do not like Embiid, which is quite a bold claim to make. Sure, there are many who feel that he should have won it in those two seasons, but Jokic getting the award was hardly some scandalous decision. If Embiid continues to put up these incredible numbers and if the Sixers get the top seed, there is a good chance he finally wins the award. The problem as always is the injuries and he is dealing with a foot injury at the moment. He has been on the sidelines for the last 3 games and has missed 11 in total this season. It is always held against it and it will probably be the case this time as well.
