The Los Angeles Clippers-Dallas Mavericks rivalry is one of the most entertaining in the NBA. These two squads have gone at it in the playoff in the past two seasons, and it’s fair to say the relationship isn’t the best of all.

Luka Doncic has been the primary target of Clippers players. Montrezl Harrell, Marcus Morris, and now Terance Mann have tried to get under the Slovenian point guard’s skin, some having more success than others.

The thing is that the Clippers have no love for Luka, and the player feels the same about the Los Angelenos. On Friday night, the Mavericks hosted the Clips at the American Airlines Center, writing another chapter in their rivalry.

Doncic and Terance Mann starred in a controversial moment following an offensive foul called on the point guard. Mann celebrated the call, but Luka wasn’t having it.

As he returned to the defensive end, the 22-year-old yelled ‘shut the f**k up’ to the Clippers bench twice, making it clear he has no love for them.

Doncic has been involved in more than one controversy with the Clippers, which doesn’t seem to change anytime soon. If they clash in the postseason, the tension will only grow and it looks like they all are ready for that.

Mann and Doncic have history since the former’s rookie season in the league. Once, he disrespected Luka Doncic, and the European didn’t like that, confronting the Clips standout for his actions.

Even though the Clippers have dominated Luka in the postseason, the former Real Madrid player gave them the worst loss in franchise history, beating them by 51 points in December 2020.

This can be one of the best duels in the West this season. Mavs and Clips will try to beat the Lakers, Jazz, Suns and others to make it to the Finals. Still, they’ll probably clash before that in another edition of this exciting matchup.
