The NBA has a long and rich history. During that time, there have been many amazing players that have showcased their talents in the NBA. But among the thousands of players that have played in the league, there are not many players that can be considered for the debate of the best players of all time.

If we try to name the top 5 NBA players of all time, there is no doubt that most fans will pick a few common names. Players like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant are usually the top names on the said list.

Anyway, each person has a different opinion on the list, and recently former NBA superstar Paul Pierce gave his two cents to the same. Pierce tweeted:

“My top 5 NBA all time players magic Jordan lebron shaq and Kg when I think about top five I say these r the only player I dreamed about playing with most inspirational players ever.”

Although Pierce’s list is almost correct, the biggest snub from that list is none other than the legendary Kobe Bryant. Upon seeing this, NBA fans on Twitter were left somewhat angry. Keeping that in mind, here are some of the best reactions to the tweet:

Not saying you’re wrong but you really think KG > Bird, Wilt, Kareem, Russell, and Kobe???

All superstars. Interesting about Shaq; although dominant, I never thought of him as inspirational. It would be great if you could share more about why the inspiration

You were good at basketball ball. But you're a retard when it comes to making lists. Respectfully, Me.

You wrote LeBron instead of Kobe, it's ok, I'm sure you didn't mean to

Paul, I never thought you’d give LeBron his due. Salute.

Switch Lebron with Kobe and I get it

Most fans were surprised at the fact that the likes of Larry Bird and Kobe Bryant weren’t on the list. Now, it is possible that Pierce made this list by position. Also, Pierce cleared the air about what he meant in his tweet. He later tweeted:

“Remember most inspirational players ever.”

Remember most inspirational players ever

Even though Pierce cleared the air about it, it is still surprising that he didn’t include Kobe in the list.

Bryant was one of the most hardworking players during his playing days. Moreover, his journey in the NBA is definitely inspirational. Hopefully, in the future, Pierce will address Kobe Bryant’s snub from his list.
