There are a lot of very cool NBA-related things on social media. Fans are always producing some amazing content. The analysis, the stats, and the debates all make the NBA community an extremely vibrant one, with people constantly engaging with one another on various aspects of their favorite sport.

But there is another side to that as well, for every fan that truly loves the game and the stars that play it, there are those that enjoy poking fun at them. It’s healthy to take life a little less seriously from time to time, so sometimes these posts go viral as well. And perhaps no star has been parodied as much as the great Michael Jordan, who is arguably the most popular basketball player to ever exist. Even his peers think Mike was a cut above the rest

A video recently went viral on Instagram of a man who looks like MJ making fun of MJ’s playing style while pretending to work out. As a joke, the fan posted about what it would look like if Jordan was preparing for an NBA return. He had all of MJ’s iconic moves down, the tongue, the fadeaway, everything. And fans reacted to it in several different ways.

“Almost had me until I saw the and-1 shorts.”

“Rocking the Gym Red 12s too.”

“Air Boredom.”

“That’s Rodney Jordan from Detroit, Michigan.”

“I thought it was him for a sec.”

“Off brand Jordan.”

“They said that’s Michelle Jardan.”

“Dude acting wild zesty.”

“And-1 shorts is crazy.”

“Ya got too much time on they hands.”

“This scared me at first. I was like omg what’s going on with him?”

“That’s Jichael Mordon.”

While some fans weren’t thrilled about the mockery, others found it quite funny and piled on with jokes of their own. MJ would likely not find it too funny if he saw this, but he’s likely got other things on his mind. In any case, the video is worth a quick laugh, and it certainly seems to have bamboozled a few fans as well.
