The Los Angeles Lakers may escape a repeat of the infamous 17-65 record, but their fans don’t believe they can win more than 30 games this season.

At the time of writing, the Lakers are 13-19 and are placed 13th in the West after their 134-130 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. They endured a torrid 0-5 start to the season, but it was Anthony Davis who single-handedly propelled them to a better record.

However, things have begun to look worrisome for the side after the big man sustained a stress fracture earlier this month. The Lakers have been 0-3 in his absence despite LeBron James’ stellar production and Russell Westbrook’s resurgence, the side has lacked the much-needed punch from the bench to close out games.

NBA Fans Lament The Troubled State Of The Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers’ mini-skids will be a worrisome factor as they head into a challenging stretch without Davis.

All eyes will be on their next move. The center’s injury has opened up a debate on whether the side must consider making massive or minimal moves. But there has been a segment of fans who aren’t optimistic about the team’s chances this year.

I really think they won’t win 30 games

27-55 is my prediction. Mr. Glass is shutting it down hopefully and Lebron will only play until he passes Kareem.

They fooled him into the extension. But, oh, well. It’s just one more season.

Fingers crossed. He deserves to contend again

3-19 with AD out for weeks at the least. This could get ugly. Bron could average 31/8/7 and it probably wont matter , this roster doesn’t have enough depth. Still can’t believe this

See y’all when the Lakers got a competitive GM.

What’s needed to make the playoffs, around 40 games? So the Lakers will have to go 27-23 to finish the season? Lol yeah right.

Lakers can absolutely afford to not make the playoffs

I wish it was relegation in nba they deserve it

That’s what tends to happen when the roster is so bad that he’s forced to play every game like it’s game 7 of the finals. There’s only 2 players on the team that would make a contender’s roster and it’s LeBron and AD

The Lakers have been a far cry from the clinical team that they were when they won the championship during the pandemic. While they made the playoffs the following season, they missed out on the berth last year, and given their woes this season, an early bow out might just be on the cards.
