A crucial day for the Utah Jazz didn’t start well for one of their best players, Rudy Gobert. The French center is expected to step up his game to try to force a Game 7 against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, but things didn’t start the best way for him.

The 3x Defensive Player of the Year recently revealed that he got stung by a bee, which made his face look very weird. This is normal, as it happens every time somebody gets stung by a bee, but for Gobert, things aren’t that simple. He shared a pic of his face after getting stung with a fun caption.

“It be your own bees sometimes,” the Utah Jazz star wrote.

NBA fans didn’t take long to react to it, with some trolling Gobert for being stung by a bee, others took the opportunity to remember that he was careless before the NBA shut down in 2020, and others trolled him by telling him he can’t even defend himself from a bee.

Gobert surely hopes he doesn’t get stung and kicked out by the Mavericks tonight. The Jazz missed the chances to cash in on Luka Doncic’s absence and now are trailing 3-2. If they don’t win this game at home, it’ll be the end of the season for them and the start of many questions about their roster and what they should do from now on.

Rudy hopes to bring his best game and help Donovan Mitchell force the last game of the series. If not, he could leave the squad in the offseason, as many teams have been linked with him.
