It’s not a secret that Stephen Curry has been one of the most influential players of all time and his contributions to the game are huge. The Golden State Warriors leader has made history thanks to his shooting talents, becoming the greatest shooter of all time.

Last night, he broke Ray Allen’s all-time 3-PT record, adding another milestone to his incredible career. He priorly broke the record of 3-pointers including the playoffs, but yesterday, Curry finally surpassed Allen on the regular-season 3PM list.

The Splash Brother has collected many records over the years. Some were harder than others, but Steph raised the bar even higher for the next generations. In the wake of his record-breaking night, Sporting News broke down all the records Curry has broken.

Arguably the most impressive, Curry broke the most 3s in a season set by Ray Allen in the 2005-06 NBA season. He absolutely destroyed it, making 402 3s in the 2015/16 campaign a lot more than Ray’s 269. He also broke the most games with 10+ 3s by a lot, shattering JR Smith’s record of 3 games. Curry has now 22 games with 10+ 3-pointers.

He also demolished Kobe Bryant’s record of most 3s from 27+ feet (211). Steph has shown his range over these years, demonstrating something like a ‘bad shot’ doesn’t exist for him. He’s made 711 3s from 27+ feet.

A record that looks unbreakable seeing the quality shooters we have in the league right now is the seasons leading the NBA in 3s. Ray Allen held the record with three campaigns, but Curry has done it seven times now, including the current season. Moreover, The Chef has done something that nobody else could in the past. Curry has recorded four seasons averaging 5 3PTM per game, which nobody else could do before, not even once.

More records:

– Most 3-pointers per game in NBA history: 3.8

– Most 3-pointers made in NBA Playoffs history: 470

– Most 3-pointers made in a single NBA Playoffs: 98, 2015 (tied with Klay Thompson, 2016)

– Most 3-pointers made in NBA Finals history: 121

– Most 3-pointers made in a single NBA Finals game: 9 (Game 2, 2018)

– Most games with 50 points and 10+ 3s in NBA history: 7

– Most seasons with 200+ 3s in NBA history: 8

– Most 3-pointers made in a calendar month in NBA history: 96 (April 2021)

– Most 3-pointers made in a calendar year in NBA history: 440 (2021)

– Fewest games played to reach 2,000 made 3s: 597

– Highest scoring average in NBA history by a player who shot 50-40-90 in a single season: 30.1

In celebration of @StephenCurry30 becoming the All-Time 3-Point leader in @nba history, here is a progressive timeline of the All-Time 3-Point leaders since the 1979-80 season.

If anybody doubted this man was special, this is the confirmation that he is. Curry has made history thanks to his 3-pointers and nothing points out he will slow down soon. He has made it clear he wants more, starting with championships for his team. Steph is ready to keep making history in the league, and fans can’t wait to see what’s next for him.
