Precious Achiuwa Takes A Shot At Kevin Durant After His Big Block: “You’re Not That Guy Pal, Trust Me Your Not That Guy”

2 Min Read

Precious Achiuwa was really proud after blocking Kevin Durant on Saturday night. It was an excellent evening for the player and Team Nigeria, upsetting Team USA with a 90-87 final score.

Achiuwa played 16:44 minutes, only posting 3 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Yet, his biggest play of the night was a block on KD as the 32-year-old drove to the rim. He denied Durant in a play that could have affected the final result.

After the match was over, the Miami Heat rookie took to Instagram to diss Durant, picking a very interesting quote to describe the 2x NBA champion.

“You’re not that guy pal, trust me your not that guy”

Huge honor to represent my country. One step at a time.

If you don’t know, that’s a reference to a famous meme where one guy confronts two guys calling him out for not wearing a facemask.

Achiuwa just finished his first season with the Heat, having limited action under Erik Spoelstra. KD, meanwhile, returned after missing the entire 2019/20 season with an ACL injury.

Nigeria pulled off an incredible upset on Saturday night, setting the alarms for Gregg Popovich and Team USA. They’re getting ready for the Summer Olympics and this isn’t a good signal for the team.

Now rivals are taking shots at them, demonstrating that anything can happen in FIBA basketball.
