Scottie Pippen Shockingly Says He’d Play With Michael Jordan Again: “I Would Play With Only Michael Jordan”

2 Min Read

The relationship between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen is pretty much dead at this point, following a series of controversial statements made by the latter regarding his time with the Chicago Bulls and what it meant to be a Michael Jordan teammate during those magical runs in the 90s.

Pippen has been taking shots at MJ for almost a year, trying to elevate himself at the same level or higher than Jordan, while also calling out people like Charles Barkley or Phil Jackson with his comments.

Not so long ago, he took a shot at the media for never picking him the DPOY award winner, saying they were too busy watching Jordan.

It seems like Scottie still has a lot to get off his chest, but recently, Pippen surprised a lot of people by admitting that he’d like to play with Jordan again. During an interview on KTLA, the point-forward was asked if he would play with MJ another time and didn’t hesitate (1:12):

“Yes! I would play with only Michael Jordan,” Pippen admitted with a smile.

Before that, he was asked if he and Jordan would be concerned to face LeBron James with either Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, or Kobe Bryant, with Pippen categorically saying that they would be ready to face any challenge.

It’s good to see that Scottie still respects Jordan’s game, although that doesn’t mean they will ever make amends and become friends again. The guard and the forward had incredible runs together, helping one another become great, but things weren’t as happy for Pippen as we thought.

Well, he’s now taking advantage of his moment and making as much noise as he can, while MJ has remained quiet, not addressing anything about Pippen and pretty much going about his life, although we know that the relationship doesn’t exist anymore.
