Shaquille O’Neal Sent 20 Pairs Of Size 23 Shoes, Clothes, And Superman Slippers To Teen Who Couldn’t Afford Them

Shaquille O’Neal showed his generous side once again, as he helped out a family with a teenager who was struggling to find size 23 shoes for his feet. O’Neal sent the young man 20 pairs of shoes, along with some of his Superman slippers and some clothes, so that he wouldn’t have to struggle to find shoes in his size or worry about being able to afford them.

O’Neal, of all people, would understand the struggle that this young man was facing, as he himself wears a size 22 shoe, and growing up, it would have been very difficult for him to be able to find shoes that fit, or for his family to buy those shoes for him. But luckily, O’Neal used his massive physical gifts and parlayed it into a legendary NBA career, where he is now in a position to help people in similar circumstances.

This is far from the first time O’Neal has done this for people, as in September, O’Neal did the same for a young man by the name of Eric Kilburn Jr. The 16-year-old from Goodrich, Michigan, set the Guinness World Record for the largest hands and feet for a teenager and struggled to find footwear and accessories for himself.

Shaq would send Kilburn several pairs of his Reebok shoes in size 23 so that the young man wouldn’t struggle. On top of that, he spoke to Kilburn several times as he had to go to the media for help, and was thrust into the public spotlight, which can be very difficult for a young man at his age to deal with.

It is good to see that Shaq continues to live up to his philanthropic reputation. O’Neal is well-regarded by many fans for his willingness to help those who are in need of help.

Shaquille O’Neal Uses His Money Very Well

Shaquille O’Neal earned a staggering $286 million in salaries from the NBA. But O’Neal has been very smart about his businesses of the court. Whether it be endorsement deals or his own businesses, Shaq has made a lot of money in his life and is currently boasting an estimated net worth of $500 million.

O’Neal has been very smart with his money, and despite earning a lot in his career, he has made sure to keep his sources of income open and active well after he has retired. His deals with Reebok and Papa John’s, along with his media deals with Turner Sports have kept him a very wealthy man.

Perhaps his off-court earnings are why he took a pay cut with the Miami Heat upon President Pat Riley’s request. And that paid off, as the Heat were able to win an NBA championship after Shaq took the pay cut and they acquired some new players.

Shaq is currently earning $10 million from TNT Sports alone, which allows him to earn a lot of money. This financial health is a big contributor to Shaq’s philanthropic efforts, and we hope to see more stories like this from Shaquille O’Neal.
