Trae Young has recently led the 5th seeded Atlanta Hawks in an upset against the 1st seeded Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the playoffs. Trae Young has performed well for the majority of the series, and while he struggled from the field in Game 7, he still managed to come up clutch for the Hawks.
Everyone knows that Philadelphia fans are one of the most passionate fanbases in sports. Trae Young has alluded to that and suggested that he loved the playoff atmosphere that the 76ers provided. Adam Hermann reported Young’s words.
Reporter: What do you feel this team proved in this series especially, after winning two games on the road in one of the toughest places to play in the NBA?
Trae Young: …It was a great environment. Loved it. Loved the s**t talking, loved everything about it. It’s been great.
There’s no question that Trae Young has shown that he can thrive in a playoff environment. He can appreciate the passionate fans of another fanbase, and it is great to see him give the fans a shout-out.
