Luka Doncic is just 23 years old and is already one of the best basketball players in the world. Although the NBA is currently in the offseason, Luka is not on vacation like most players. Instead, he has been representing his country in EuroBasket 2022.
Doncic is obviously the star of the Slovenian team and has already proved on numerous occasions how skillful he truly is. On top of that, fans have high expectations from Slovenia as they are the defending champions.
To be honest, they have been playing like champions throughout the competition as well. Unfortunately, even the best teams can have bad days. And that’s what happened for Slovenia during their matchup against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In a closely fought match, Bosnia and Herzegovina ended up winning the game with a score of 97-93 in their favor. The defeat meant an end to Slovenia’s 11-game win streak.
Doncic had a pretty standard game as he scored just 16 points and shot 8-of-18 from the field. What’s even more surprising is the fact that Doncic attempted eight three-pointers in the game but missed them all.

More often than not, Luka is well-mannered on the court. He rarely gets into altercations with opponents, let alone being angry at his own teammates. But when Slovenia was on the verge of losing against the Bosnians, Doncic had enough.

Doncic’s anger was apparent in the short clip that has gone viral in a matter of hours. He was also seen throwing a water bottle on the floor as an expression of his anger.
The last few weeks have been a bit tough on the young superstar. Just a few days ago, it was reported that Luka was smoking cigarettes, drinking coke, and playing cards before Slovenia’s defeat against Germany. Hopefully, Doncic can bounce back soon and reply to his critics with a few stunning games.
