Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets have been subjected to a lot of criticism and mockery since getting swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round. The Nets have two of the most skilled players in NBA history but weren’t even able to win a game. Durant clapped back at Charles Barkley and the Inside The NBA panel last night, and the team’s producers took revenge on Durant using the popular show ‘The Office’.

Inside The NBA on TNT aired a video last night during the episode which showed a scene from ‘The Office’ on a bus, with the faces of the Nets players and head coach Steve Nash edited onto their bodies. In a hilarious moment, Kevin Durant was asked to sing about himself and introduced himself as such. The joke was that the bus was on its way to Cancun, a popular joke referencing a team’s season coming to an end.

The video ended with a stranger boarding the bus, which happened to be Ben Simmons. In a reference to his earlier comments, Charles Barkley was the bus driver. A response aimed at Durant was expected at the show, especially considering his interaction with basketball personality Rob Perez, in which he took a dig at the producers and writers of Inside The NBA.

Charles Barkley also responded to Kevin Durant’s shots at him on the show, noting that he wasn’t trying to be mean to Kevin Durant, but believes that he should look at his past success and realize that he was a passenger on the bus, rather than the one leading it to success when he was in Golden State. Barkley also added that his lack of success as the leader in Brooklyn is why he is being criticized the way he is right now.
