Getting drafted into the NBA is an exciting time for any basketball player around the world. The class of 2023 will experience those emotions on June 22, 2023.

Speaking of the draft class, they will be handed out their first contracts after getting into the NBA. Evidently, many are wondering what will items will they buy after getting drafted. A few prospects from the 2023 draft class shared their opinions in an interview with Bleacher Report.

“Probably some FIFA packs. Just because I’m always buying those, unfortunately.”

A few rookies wanted to spend their first contract money on personal items. But the majority want to buy a house or something for their mother.

It’s great to see they are thinking of their family’s financial safety before burning through their paychecks.

Who Will Be The Number One Draft Pick In The 2023 NBA Draft?

The 2023 NBA Draft is headlined by two excellent prospects – Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson. Many believe that there’s no doubt that the San Antonio Spurs will select Wembanyama as their first overall draft pick.

Henderson is a great prospect, but Wembanyama is looked at as a generational talent. Despite that, Henderson is confident in his abilities and believes can get drafted over the French phenom.

“I think I have the ability to go No. 1,” Henderson said. “I believe in myself as any competitor should. My personality, it speaks for itself.”

It’s great to see that Henderson believes in himself, but there are little to no chances of him getting drafted over Wembanyama.

Either way, the 2023 NBA Draft takes place in less than a month and the entire NBA community’s eyes will be on the two superstars that night.
