NBA Rumors: 5 Best Trade Packages For Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal has been on fire lately, following up a 55-point game with a 53-point effort. Without a doubt, Beal is an absolute star at scoring the basketball. Unfortunately, on a team without John Wall, Bradley Beal has seen his scoring efforts go to waste. The Wizards are currently well below .500 with a 21-36 record. Clearly, his team isn’t good enough for a man with his talents.

No matter how well Beal plays, it is clear that he will not be able to carry a poor Wizards squad that will have to survive without John Wall for the rest of the year. Even when Wall returns, who knows if he will ever be able to replicate the All-NBA form he had before his injuries. As a result, it is only a matter of time before Beal wants out of Washington. If the Wizards grant his wish, here are the best available trade packages for Bradley Beal.

Denver Nuggets

Trade Package: Gary Harris, Michael Porter, Will Barton, Monte Morris, First-Round Pick for Bradley Beal and Moritz Wagner

Denver is a very good team that is currently second in the Western Conference. Still, many have doubts over Denver’s ability to be a consistent force in the playoffs. While they have one superstar player in Nikola Jokic, they might benefit from adding a second All-NBA caliber player in Bradley Beal. Denver often goes through stretches where they can’t score, so Beal would immediately address this issue.

For Washington, they are receiving two excellent young players in Morris and Porter Jr. who can be building blocks for their future. Barton and Harris are two starting-caliber players that can give Washington a strong starting lineup when John Wall returns. A first-round pick certainly sweetens the deal for Washington here, who might be interested in rebuilding.

San Antonio Spurs

Trade Package: DeMar DeRozan, Lonnie Walker, Derrick White, First-Round Pick for Bradley Beal

The Wizards can negotiate with San Antonio to receive DeMar DeRozan, Lonnie Walker, and Derrick White. White and Walker are two exciting young players who have the potential to be very good, so they might have the opportunity to showcase their skills in Washington.

Furthermore, DeRozan has a player option and the Wizards can opt to retain him for the future or use this trade to clear a ton of cap space.

For the Spurs, Beal can be their next star player alongside an aging LaMarcus Aldridge. Beal will certainly appreciate playing for one of the best NBA franchises, where he can make a name for himself and hopefully build his legacy as a Spur great. This is a win-win for all parties, especially since DeRozan hasn’t led the Spurs too much success in the postseason.

Philadelphia 76ers

Trade Package: Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, Zhaire Smith, First-Round Pick for Bradley Beal, Ish Smith and Jerome Robinson

Philadelphia is a good team, but adding Bradley Beal would put them over the top. He is one of the best pure scorers in the league, and would immediately give Philly some excellent long-range shooting. A lineup with Simmons, Embiid, and Beal would place the Sixers alongside the Bucks as the best in the East. Beal would also love playing for a contender in a relatively weaker Eastern Conference.

Washington would get back strong returns in Richardson and Harris, who are two starting-caliber players and the latter being a potential All-Star player. Harris and Wall would be a nice duo, while Richardson is developing into a very nice player. If Washington doesn’t want to rebuild immediately, this package gives them enough talent to possibly sneak in the playoffs when Wall is back.

Los Angeles Lakers

Trade Package: Kyle Kuzma, Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Quinn Cook for Bradley Beal

There was no secret that the Lakers were interested in adding Bradley Beal to their superstar cast of Davis and James, and Beal would certainly put them over the top as the best team in the NBA. He is that special, especially when paired with LeBron James and Davis who would free up tons of space for him to operate. Beal most probably wouldn’t mind playing in the city of Los Angeles while wearing the famous Lakers jersey.

For Washington, Kyle Kuzma would become a second star next to John Wall. Kuzma is clearly built of something special, with his complete confidence in himself and his abilities. As a forward who can score in many ways, he would be given a chance to be a number one or two option for this team. Alongside Wall, they might be onto something special in the future if they can draft the right players.

They can use KCP’ contract to clean the salary, while Danny Green and Quinn Cook could be a solid addition for the Wizards.

Toronto Raptors

Trade Package: Norman Powell, Patrick McCaw, OG Anunoby, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, First-Round Pick for Bradley Beal

The Raptors are very good, but adding Beal would make them much better. He is a legitimate 25-PPG scorer that can take and make clutch shots in crunch moments. Adding Beal to a roster with Lowry, Gasol, and Siakam would be a special sight to watch. Beal would also play for a franchise that was crowned NBA Champions, something he would relish.

For Washington, OG Anunoby is the real prize along with the two first-round picks. OG has the potential to guard four positions and can develop his offensive game enough to hit the three-point shot consistently. He has tremendous upside, and guys like Powell and Hollis-Jefferson can provide depth to a team that needs quality role players. This deal also gives Washington some draft rights to get some nice players to join their rebuilding case.
