NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Will Have 10 Free Agents This Offseason

1 Min Read

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to do everything they can to keep their team intact this summer. Coming off their first Championship victory in 10 years, it wouldn’t make much sense to completely rebuild this team now.

Unfortunately, with 10 of their players set to become free-agents in the offseason, that task may prove challenging.

For L.A., it all starts with Anthony Davis. As the team’s co-star, his presence was a major factor in their success and he will be their top priority. Luckily, there seems to be a good chance he returns

As for the rest, their fate isn’t as clear. Guys like Rondo, KCP, and Dwight Howard were big contributors but there’s just no way to be sure they’ll be back in the Purple and Gold next season, especially if they go out seeking more money. The Lakers, after all, won’t have much trouble replacing them.

Needless to say, changes will be coming on some level. How much change this team will have to endure, however, is all up to the front office and who they choose to invest in.
