The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly going to be quite aggressive in their pursuit of a third star this offseason. Bradley Beal’s name was mentioned but it’s unlikely that the Washington Wizards are willing to part ways with him as of now.
And, according to Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson, they’ve now shifted their attention towards the New Orleans Pelicans as they look to make a run at Jrue Holiday for Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, Dzanan Musa, and a protected future first-round pick:
“Nets are interested in Jrue Holiday. Players & picks have been discussed. Have heard that Nets offer is Dinwiddie/Allen/Musa and a protected future 1st. An interesting offer, for sure, nothing can be done before the Bubble ends and a trade window opens,” Scoop B Robinson tweeted.

This move would make a lot of sense for both parties. The Pelicans would get a solid backup point guard for Lonzo Ball, a great rim protector on Jarrett Allen, and a shooter in Musa, plus a future pick that better fits their timeline.
Brooklyn would get a defensive standout that doesn’t need to have the ball on his hand to make his impact felt on both ends of the court but can score when called upon. There’s nothing official thus far but it’s a deal that would perfectly suit everybody involved.
