NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Clippers Are Interested In Terry Rozier

2 Min Read

Terry Rozier has had a great season so far and is a key part of helping the Hornets make their push towards the playoffs. Rozier has been one of the Hornets’ top scorers, averaging 20.4 PPG while shooting 43% from 3PT range. Terry Rozier has shown that the Charlotte Hornets made the right choice signing him, and has developed amazingly as a player.

When you’re a good player, you inevitably have trade rumors surrounding your name. Recently, Terry Rozier has been linked with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers have been looking for a point guard, and apparently, Terry Rozier is one of their interests for the position. Chris Mannix reported on the situation.

As noted above, the Clippers are no so quietly shopping for point guard help. Patrick Beverley is solid while Lou Williams continues to provide scoring off the bench. But neither Williams (3.6 assists) or Beverley (career-low 2.1) is much of a playmaker, and L.A. needs one to take pressure off of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. There continues to be strong internal interest in Terry Rozier, who is having a breakout season in Charlotte.

Terry Rozier would be an interesting option for the Los Angeles Clippers. Terry Rozier is mostly playing in a scoring role on the Charlotte Hornets, but could perhaps adapt his skills to being more of a passing point guard. We have often seen players sacrifice some of their scoring in order to try and win a championship. Terry Rozier could thrive next to two superstars on the Los Angeles Clippers and give them a solid option at the PG position.
