Lakers ‘Willing To Listen To Offers’ For Any Players Except LeBron James And Anthony Davis

2 Min Read

With a 30-7 record in the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers aren’t a team in need of major changes ahead of this season’s deadline.

But, according to a report by Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, they aren’t exactly ruling out a trade involving any member of their supporting cast.

“Activity often ramps up league-wide in advance of the trade deadline, but the Lakers are still in a fact-finding mode. A person familiar with the team’s plans said the Lakers, who have the best record in the Western Conference, don’t plan to make any dramatic moves, but would be interested in improving the ‘fringes’ of their team if the right deal arises.”

Apparently, nobody except James and Davis is untouchable. With the right offer, the Lakers could make a significant move before the season’s over.

Kyle Kuzma and KCP have been the biggest names to surface so far, with multiple scenarios being thrown around the league. As the Lakers set their eyes on a ball-handling guard, it’s clear now that they would be willing to part with Kuzma for the right piece.

As the mid-season grind continues, and the trade deadline roars on, expect the Lakers to be aggressive players on the trade market as they look to improve their roster for the playoff run to come.
