NBA Rumors: Miami Heat Could Trade For Collin Sexton

2 Min Read

The Miami Heat were eliminated in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks, and they were not able to win a single game during the series. There is no doubt that they need to make some adjustments if they want to make an NBA Finals run once again like they did during the 2019-20 season.

Perhaps one of the ways that the Miami Heat could return to contender status is via trade. A recent rumor has suggested that the Miami Heat could potentially target Collin Sexton via trade. There was also a report that the Cavaliers are looking at packages that involve Kevin Love in exchange for Sexton.

Collin Sexton averaged 24.3 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 4.4 APG this season, and there’s no question he is an extremely capable scorer. Adding Sexton to Miami’s defensively potent core would be an amazing move. Taking on Kevin Love as part of the deal could be beneficial for the Miami Heat as well. Love is no longer an All-Star, but his shooting as a big man could definitely aid the Heat in their quest for the championship. Collin Sexton had a great season for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but perhaps he will be traded if the Miami Heat send an elite offer.
