Ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets are heading towards a downfall it seems. As of now, they have one of the best rosters in the NBA, at least on paper. With the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons, and Blake Griffin at their disposal.
Additionally, Steve Nash has been handling the coaching duties for the team. But it seems like the Nets are closer to breaking up than anyone thought. Earlier, it was revealed that Kyrie Irving and the Nets haven’t figured out a new contract. This could mean that Kai might just leave the franchise before the new season begins.
Now, if Kyrie leaves the team, many speculated that Durant will force a trade as he signed a four-year contract last August. Although nothing has been set in stone yet, rumors suggest that KD is already considering options for his future. This could mean trouble for the Brooklyn Nets.
But for other franchises? It’s a blessing. They have a shot at getting two of the best players in the league, after all. On that note, the photoshopped pictures of Durant are already flooding the internet.

The coming days are extremely important for the Nets. They have the task of convincing Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to stay. But as per reports, KD is yet to inform the Nets that he will leave if Kyrie leaves.
