The Boston Celtics are hoping to become the first team since the 2018 Golden State Warriors to win the championship crown in back-to-back seasons. The Celtics are the reigning champions but have multiple teams nipping at their heels to try and upset them and steal their glory. However, the franchise is staying united through it all.
The franchise’s togetherness came through in a video of their pre-game huddle, as center Kristaps Porzingis led the huddle with a simple question that prompted his teammates to bark in agreement.

The Celtics have great chemistry and this is another moment that reflects that. The team is having a strong season with a 41-16 record, emerging in a select group of contenders alongside the OKC Thunder and league-leading Cleveland Cavaliers.
Even though the team has engaging personalities, it’s clear they go about their business first. They proved over last season that they can commit to a singular motive of winning by shedding any personal agendas for the good of the stream. Head coach Joe Mazzulla has instituted a strong culture under which the team is thriving right now.
The Celtics had more players show the degree of their personality to the entire world with a segment they ran with Jaylen Brown. In the segment, the Finals MVP identifies popular artists by being shown their pictures.
While he did identify some big names like Prince, Jimi Hendrix, and even himself, he missed names like Chappell Roan and Paul McCartney.

If you watched the Celtics game against the New York Knicks, you got to enjoy both these moments and a dominant 118-105 Boston win against their conference rivals.
Jayson Tatum led the team with 25 points (8-20 FG), 10 rebounds, and nine assists while Jaylen Brown put up 24 points (10-21 FG). Derrick White had 19 points (7-10 FG), nine rebounds, and seven assists while Kristaps Porzingis had 15 points (6-15 FG) and seven rebounds. Jrue Holiday had 14 points (6-9 FG) and three steals to round out a dominant showing by the Celtics starting five.
Despite some hiccups in their championship defense campaign, the Celtics have looked like the same dominant franchise we saw easily secure the 2024 NBA Championship. While they’ve been temporarily unseated atop the conference by the Cavaliers, they’re bound to be the favorites in the Playoffs.
The Celtics are arguably the most tested core in the Playoffs right now by being an essentially perennial Conference Finals team for the last seven seasons. They know what it takes to win a title and have a fluid core of do-it-all stars who can outmatch every lineup in the NBA.
Their chemistry being as strong as it is with little signs of a championship hangover is a great sign for the franchise. They’re well-positioned for the Playoffs and will likely be the No. 2 seed, so the core can start preparing for their ensuing Playoff run shortly.
