Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has generated a lot of buzz during his latest tour of China. The sheer volume of fans in attendance for the events has been a testament to the star’s influence and popularity on a global scale.

Curry has had the red carpet rolled out for him at the “Curry Con” tour. From the mesmerizing drone show to welcome him to the country, to the experiences he’s had in Chongqing, the Warriors superstar has truly received the royal treatment.

Needless to say, Curry has also catered to the fans, showcasing his incredible shooting skills at events. Recently, fans took notice of Curry’s muscular appearance, garnering a lot of attention on social media.

As fans shared their reactions to the image, we took a look at a few that were posted on X.

“He’s about to win number 5, bro,” claimed one fan, confidently.

“He’s on roids,” stated another.

“Worst shooting year of his career loading,” said a skeptical user, implying the increased musculature would impact Curry’s performance.

“Curroid about to hit different,” joked another user.

“I hope not. He shoots terribly when he’s not slim,” stated another fan.

One fan hilariously said, “He needs all the muscles to carry the team yet again.”

Another compared his physique to LeBron James’ rumored use of PEDs and said, “Roids like LeBroni.”

Another shared the same sentiment and added, “If Bron can use PEDs, why not me?”

One user offered a more realistic assessment and stated, “Steph has been ‘jacked’ like this since 2022. Ain’t nothing new.”

“Always looked like that. Just lighting,” acknowledged another user.

Lighting may have played a larger role in impacting his appearance. But given Curry’s approach to conditioning, it would also not be surprising if he did put on some muscle weight in the process of his workouts this offseason.

The upcoming season will bring a lot of challenges for the Golden State Warriors, demanding that Curry step it up a notch yet again. When considering the current state of their roster, however, there is only so much the superstar guard can do by himself.

The Warriors have made effectively no moves this offseason, primarily due to the obstacles they’ve encountered while attempting to negotiate with Jonathan Kuminga. Although both sides have been patient with the proceedings, Golden State is running out of time.

On this note, the 11x All-Star has been active in communicating his intentions of being competitive next season and pushing the Warriors’ front office to make the necessary signings to facilitate this.

The core of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green is still capable of surprising the other teams in the Western Conference. Signing the right pieces to fill out the supporting roles is only the first step in this process.
