The Brooklyn Nets recently made a trade that could change their prognosis in the Eastern Conference.

But unless they figure out a way to settle their situation with their star guard, Kyrie Irving, things might grow increasingly out of control. Since the riots at the Capitol, Kyrie has gone AWOL from the team, causing an uproar within the organization and throughout the NBA community.

In a chat with Forbes, Nets GM Sean Marks was the latest to respond to the absence of his team’s star point guard.

“Without a doubt, I’m not going to shy away from it, we are disappointed that Kyrie not amongst us, not in the trenches with us. I don’t want to speculate and say why he’s out. I’ve had conversations with him. I look forward to him being back and he will address this.”

Obviously, the Nets are trying to control the fallout from Irving’s behavior this season. Besides reports that the Nets were getting frustrated with the whole situation, they’ve done their best to support and rally around Uncle Drew.

Kevin Durant came out with positive comments about him and, now, Mr. Marks seems to be denying the rumors of any problems.
