The New York Knicks fans are known for being one of the most difficult fanbases in the NBA. They always want their team to win, which has given them many issues in the past 20 years, as the Knicks have struggled to be the contender they were in the 90s, challenging teams like the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs.

Now, they are just a playoff team with not so much to offer to their fans, and the faithful are always ready to blast them. This season has been full of ups and downs for the Knickerbockers, and they sit at 14-13, enough to rank 6th in the Eastern Conference.

Still, fans will always find a way to criticize them, and recently, they took offense to the partners of some of their players. The Knicks, who are linked with some trade rumors, celebrated their holiday night party, with players and their families attending the big event.

New York Knicks Fans Take Issue With Their Black Players

After a picture showing a series of players with their partners, many fans were upset by that. Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and Obi Toppin all have white women as partners, which didn’t sit well with many of the fans.

Some really criticized the stars for their choice, with some saying that they hate black women. Others made jokes about it and even replied to the picture with videos and photos of Dr. Umar Johnson.

The New York Knicks are trying to become a competitive team again and challenge the top squads in the East. Tom Thibodeau has been criticized a lot this season, and many say he needs to leave the franchise. But, as long as they keep safe from the play-in tournament spots, it would be hard to see the Knickerbockers parting ways with their head coach.

Fans are constantly looking for ways to criticize them, and this time they found a crazy reason to.
