Who is the best player in the NBA? LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kevin Durant are often the easiest choices, but Patrick Beverley and the L.A. Clippers want the world to know why it’s actually Kawhi Leonard.

In last night’s game against, Pat Bev was mic’d up and used the opportunity to spread the word about his teammate…

“I got the wire on. Let the people know why Kawhi the best player in the NBA. They don’t believe me.”

Kawhi Leonard is obviously one of the NBA’s best players. He’s a 4x All-Star, 2x Defensive Player of the Year, and 2x NBA Champion. This season, he is averaging 27 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists on 47% shooting.

His presence is what helped the Raptors win the Chip in 2019 and it is his arrival that has turned the Clippers into an instant championship contender.

But whether or not he has the same impact as Giannis or LeBron is more than questionable. And when compared to those guys, the case can be made that he’s just not on their level.

Needless to say, it will continue to be a debate throughout the NBA community. At least we know where Bev stands on it, though…
