Patrick Beverley is hardly the most beloved figure among NBA fans but it isn’t something he has ever cared about. Beverley loves to play the role of instigator on the court and unless he is on your team, it is very easy to dislike him.

He recently got into it with Damian Lillard and then proceeded to taunt him after the Los Angeles Lakers sealed the win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Beverley is also well-known for flopping to try to get calls and he tried it again against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The referees weren’t buying it one bit and NBA fans roasted Beverley for the flop.

“This is embarrassing “

“I think a fingernail almost came close to his headband!?”

“Fits the lakers perfectly”

“Please fine this nonsense”

“This flop from Pat Bev deserves an oscar”

“He’s a real comedian at this point “

“This dude is a clown ‍♂️ “

“Egregious flops should be an automatic flagrant 1.”

“This sh** had me in tears “

“And the Best Actor goes to..”

“Definitely one of the funniest flops of the year!!! “

“Boy should be in the next action film with that damn acting”

“Play-in MVP pat Bev trying to win an Oscar with that flop”

“Never wanted a player off the team so bad in my life”

“Dude is pathetic.”

“Send this bum to Russia man lol”

“Oscar worthy.”

“Flip from Above the Rim “

“He talk crazy about CP but do this “

Considering how he loves to call out the likes of Chris Paul for flopping, you would think he wouldn’t do it himself but that is not how Beverley is wired. He is trying to gain every possible advantage he can get on the court and it can lead to embarrassing moments like this one. The game also ended in defeat for Beverley and the Lakers, as the Clippers beat them yet again.

The Lakers Just Can’t Beat The Clippers

The Lakers looked set to be blown out here as the Clippers led by 23 points at one stage but they trimmed that lead down to 10 in the fourth quarter. That was as close as they’d get though as the Clippers went on a run and ended up winning 133-115 despite LeBron James scoring 46 points.

The loss means the Lakers are now 0-10 against the Clippers under Tyronn Lue. The Clippers have really dominated the Lakers over the last decade or so and it is a shame that we haven’t seen a playoff series between these sides. For all of the Clippers’ domination though, it is the Lakers who have actually gone on to win a title and the Clippers will be looking to finally get over the hump this time around.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
