Signature moves are what many fans remember NBA players by, as some of the greats had that one move that was inextricably linked with them. LeBron James is one of those players with a specific move he does really well.
He’s previously said that his signature move may just be a transition tomahawk dunk, but Paul George thinks it’s something else. LeBron developed a stutter three-pointer with the Lakers where he stares at the ball before pulling back for a shot. George said it’s the best signature move in the NBA right now.
“It’s so effective, what’s the percentage on it? I’ve never seen him miss it. You know he’s about to shoot when he stares at that motherf***er. He knows what time it is. I’ve never seen him miss it, because when he do it like, ‘What the f*ck you looking at?’ It’s effective bro.”
"It's so effective… I've never seen him miss it. Cause when he do it like, 'What the f*ck you looking at?'"
Paul George believes LeBron James' "Look Down" three is the best signature in the NBA. Do you agree?

The highlight reels of LeBron letting those threes fly is incredible to watch. It genuinely seems like he rarely misses this shot, but there are a few in-game misses that eagle-eyed fans will be able to find. The consistency with making it in that particular moment is insane because James shot 32.1% from three in the regular season, which dipped heavily to 26.4% in the playoffs.
A Colorful Nickname
Fans have been noticing this LeBron shot for years now and have given it a nickname that is too colorful to type out. Naturally, the move starts with ‘Le’, which is the ultimate mark of respect when it comes to fans giving LeBron nicknames. Laker fans will be hoping to see this shot used more often and for LeBron to drastically improve his general efficiency from the three-point line.
In the last two seasons, LeBron has been playing with minimal spacing around him and often was guarded by two to three defenders. He somehow averaged 30.3 points in 21-22 and 28.9 points last season despite the challenging coverages.
With a well-balanced team heading into next season, James should get some more room to operate due to the scoring threats around him. Maybe that’s what the man coming back for Year 21 needs to continue his uncanny offensive domination at his age.
