Indiana Pacers All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton and Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George recently shared hilarious stories about Anthony Edwards on ‘Podcast P.’
“Remember Dame and Donovan just kept shooting from half-court?” Haliburton said. “Me and Ant sitting on the bench. We ain’t really play that much like that. We was along for the ride at that point. But Dame pulled up from probably three steps behind the logo. Ant looked at me, ‘He shot that b***h from Yucatan.’ I said, ‘Yucatan? What did you just say? Is that a real place?’ He’s like, ‘Nah. That’s how far that b***h was.'”
George shared his own story about Edwards denying throwing a lob after coach Michael Malone drew up the play.
“Do you remember when coach Malone was drawing up the first play?” George responded. “Funniest s**t. Bron, Ant Edwards, I know them two was in the game. He drawing up a play, and it was for Ant to throw a lob. Ant was like, ‘Nah, coach. Nah. Imma keep it a 100. That b***h gonna go over the backboard. I don’t throw lobs.”
