The Boston Celtics have managed to win three games in a row against the Miami Heat, evening the Eastern Conference Finals series at 3-3. It is clear that the Celtics refused to give up even when the wider NBA world counted them out.

Game 7 will be played in Boston, and it is clear that the Celtics will have an advantage over the Heat because of that. In fact, Celtics legend Paul Pierce guaranteed that the Celtics will walk out of the building with a victory.

There is no doubt that the Celtics have been the more talented team throughout the series, but the Heat were more consistent and disciplined. However, it is clear that talent still plays a role in wins and losses, as evidenced by the Boston Celtics being able to make this comeback. However, anything can happen in Game 7, and we’ll have to wait to see who comes out on top.

Charles Barkley Believes The Boston Celtics Are Facing More Pressure Than The Miami Heat Going Into Game 7

There is no doubt that the Miami Heat have been under a lot of pressure to close out the series and avoid blowing the 3-0 lead, but it seems as though some believe the Celtics are under more pressure tonight.

“If the Celtics lose Game 7 at home, all this ‘we making history’, y’all didn’t make no history. You got to Game 7, so all the pressure goes back to the Celtics. I said all the pressure was on the Heat tonight, now it flips. All the pressure is on the Celtics,” said Charles Barkley.

Sometimes, the weight of achieving something historic can crush players, and hopefully, that isn’t going to be the case with the Boston Celtics. They definitely have the talent to succeed tonight, but they have to play the way they’ve been playing for the last three games to get out of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The key, of course, is for superstar Jayson Tatum to step up. The best players lead their teams to victories in situations such as these, but obviously, that is easier said than done. The Miami Heat have an elite defense, and it is clear that getting buckets on them is going to be difficult. However, Jayson Tatum has been elite on both ends of the floor throughout the series, and he can definitely prevail in this matchup.
