Paul Pierce Predicts Who Will Play In The Eastern Conference Finals: Brooklyn Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks

1 Min Read

Paul Pierce may not be an analyst for ESPN anymore, but he’s still giving his takes on NBA-related topics. The Boston Celtics icon saw his team eliminated by the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the playoffs after a very tumultuous season.

Four good teams are still in competition in the East, but Pierce has predicted what two will fight to represent the conference in the 2021 NBA Finals. While most fans believe the Philadelphia 76ers and the Nets will clash in the ECF, Pierce thinks the Hawks will surprise the 1st seed and face Brooklyn.

“Brooklyn vs Atlanta eastern conference finals done deal,” Pierce tweeted on Sunday while Trae Young and co. cooked the Sixers.

It’s very early to predict something like this, but this is Paul Pierce we’re talking about. This man isn’t afraid of speaking his mind regardless of how wrong he is and this may be another example of that. NBA fans are getting ready to blast the 2008 NBA champions if the Sixers and Milwaukee Bucks ruin his prediction.
