In what has been a bitter seven-game series between the Bucks and Nets, one of the more intriguing storylines is the dynamic between Kevin Durant and PJ Tucker, who seem to take frequent jabs at each other on the court.

While not really rivals, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to call them heated competitors.

Following Game 6, with both teams headed for a Game 7 in Brooklyn, Tucker elaborated on his relationship with the superstar, clarifying that he absolutely loves guarding the guy.

“It’s the playoffs, man,” he said. “I don’t know what people think. We dream about this our whole lives. You dream about being in the playoffs and guarding the best player in the world. Like, I’ll die out there. I’m living my dream.

Me and Kevin fight every year,” he told reporters when talking about Kevin Durant. “… I love guarding him. I enjoy it. He’s the best scorer I’ve ever seen in my life … that’s my brother, we compete, we fight every game, we’re gonna fight again in Game 7.”

This is the type of attitude you love to see in the playoffs. With all the stakes on the line, PJ Tucker is glad to take up the challenge of guarding the best player in the world. Likewise, KD seems to enjoy giving him buckets.

In Game 7, one can only imagine how intense things will get between the two.
