PJ Tucker and Devin Booker clashed with great intensity during the postseason last year. The two went head to head in the 2021 NBA Finals when Booker’s Suns took on Tucker and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Tucker proved to be crucial for the Bucks, providing solid floor spacing and veteran experience. As for Booker, the moment proved to be too big for him, as he wasn’t able to elevate his game to the level that the Finals stage demanded.

Tucker and the Milwaukee Bucks ended up winning the NBA championship in 6 games, despite Booker and the Suns holding a 2-0 lead. Tucker was able to get the upper hand over his young former teammate.

Despite this, the two seem to be on excellent terms. During Tucker’s stint in Phoenix, he and Booker shared a good relationship, forging a friendship that seems to have lasted beyond Tucker’s departure from the organization.

Tucker is a sneakerhead in the truest sense of the word. So if someone has a classic shoe that he doesn’t, it will not sit right with him. And knowing exactly that, Booker jokingly pushed the buttons of his former teammate.

D-Book recently commented on a picture of him wearing some classic Kobe Bryant shoes, noting that PJ Tucker didn’t have these shoes in his collection.

Tucker responded by putting a picture of the shoes on his story to show Booker that he has added the shoes to his collection. And Booker upped the game by saying that he had the biggest sneakerhead in the game scrambling to get his hands on the shoes.

As we know, Tucker is a massive sneakerhead off the court. He is a huge fan of collecting shoes and sneakers and takes great pride in his collection of shoes.

Whether it be Jordans or classic basketball shoes, Tucker probably has it in his collection. But Booker had Tucker a little jealous for just a moment.
