Rajon Rondo Pissed After Kawhi Leonard’s Shot To Tie The Game

2 Min Read

There was a lot to dissect from the Clippers’ Game 5 loss. But out of all the highlight plays that happened throughout the game, it was one moment between Rajon Rondo and Kawhi Leonard that went viral on Twitter.

Moments after Kawhi takes, and bricks, a potential game-tying shot down the stretch, Rondo appears visibly confused and frustrated. giving Leonard a rather bizarre look as they head back to the sidelines.

Fans were quick to meme the exchange.

It was a pretty funny moment for what has been a pretty terrible night for the Clippers.

It was an opportunity for them to take full control in the series after storming back from down 0-2, but they failed to deliver at home (once again), and find themselves on the verge of getting kicked from playoff contention.

It’s understandable that Rondo, and many other fans, would be so frustrated considering the fact that such an important game came down to such a lousy attempt from three.

In the end, though, the Clippers do still have a chance to prove themselves. It all starts in Game 6. If they can come out and play up to their potential, it might be enough to save their season for at least one more game.

Can they rise to the occasion?
