Rapper Mase took shots at Ja Morant and Zion Williamson amid their recent controversies.

While Ja was found guilty of flashing a gun for the second time on Instagram Live, which eventually saw the NBA suspend him for 25 games. Zion’s alleged tryst with pornstar Moriah Mills has seen his image take a hit with many believing that the forward’s time with the New Orleans Pelicans is hurtling towards a murky end.

And Mase didn’t hold back when he called out both the young stars. “It’s NBA gun boy vs. NBA po*n boy. Wow. But I think he’s definitely putting himself in a place where he’s getting out of New Orleans.”

A closer look at his comments suggests that Mase was focused more on Zion and Moriah’s recent scandal with the latter threatening to expose sex tapes with the 22-year-old. Recent developments showed that she also inked his name on her face, causing more furor on social media.

It’s safe to say that Zion’s stocks have taken a dent, and Mase’s thoughts about the Pelicans star’s time in New Orleans coming to an end aren’t really a stretch. There have been reports of his off-court behavior upsetting the team’s management. Only time will tell how his future shapes up in the league ahead of next season.

Zion Williamson And The New Orleans Pelicans’ Relationship Under Tension

Despite his immense talent, Zion’s recent controversy, coupled with his injury issues has reportedly heightened the tensions between the player and the franchise.

Per Will Guillory of The Athletic, the team’s frustration with the forward and vice versa has escalated over the last few months. In fact, it was said that the team would reportedly move him before the NBA Draft.

“Still, even if Williamson isn’t moved before Thursday night, that is far from the end of this story. It’s only the beginning, as behind-the-scenes tensions between Williamson and the Pelicans have intensified over the past few months.”

While there is no doubt that Zion is all an All-Star, his injury history has been a legitimate concern for the team that’s reliant on him to make a difference. With his latest trouble, he’s got work ahead of him, and hopefully, he will manage to repair his issues on and off the court — whether it’s with the Pelicans or with a new team.
