There were a lot of players that got massive contracts during free agency but the biggest winners happened to be clients of the same man, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.

Having come up as LeBron James‘ agent, Paul has become a powerhouse agent in the NBA and his deals show it. He negotiated for a combined sum of $390 million between just three of his clients, leading fans to show him a lot of love in hilarious ways.

In response to the announcement of Fred VanVleet’s massive $130 million contract with the Houston Rockets, a fan wrote: “Rich Paul could get a McDonald’s worker $70 an hour to work the drive-thru.”

This fan wasn’t the only one, there were others in the replies and comments saying similar things and praising Rich Paul. One fan tweeted saying the way he operates needs to be taught in schools.

Another fan was ready to declare him the GOAT of all NBA agents.

Free agency is always a bit of a wild card, but as another fan simply said, there is only one true winner this year.

Rich Paul negotiated a four-year contract worth $100 million for Draymond Green with the Golden State Warriors. He then got into what some consider the wildest one of the three, which is getting Jerami Grant paid $160 million over five seasons. And the highest paid player per year that Paul negotiated for is VanVleet, who got $130 million over just three years from the Houston Rockets. It’s almost hard to believe.

LeBron James Tweeted And Showed His Support For Rich Paul

Not only is Rich Paul LeBron James’ agent, but they are also friends and business partners. Paul has received quite a bit of hate in his career, but now that he is winning, LeBron spoke on it to make sure the man gets his flowers

“And y’all still wanna question is Rich Paul is the H.I.M. It says a lot about you if you not feeling us. I told him less is more it’s plenty of us.”

There has been some bad press for Klutch Sports in recent years, but this free agency will invariably pull more clients toward CEO Rich Paul and his firm. An agent’s job is to ensure he gets the best deal possible for his client, and that’s exactly what Paul does. It’s a good time for him and Klutch Sports, to say the least.
