Richard Jefferson After Kawhi Leonard Was Poked In The Face: “Even Robots Need An Oil Change.”

1 Min Read

Richard Jefferson had some jokes for Kawhi Leonard after the forward faced some troubles during the Los Angeles Clippers-Boston Celtics game on Friday night. The Klaw was unfortunately poked in the eye by Semi Ojeleye and had to sit on the bench for a little.

While he was getting treated on the sidelines, former NBA player-turned-analyst Jefferson had a curious description of Kawhi and his situation, explaining the procedure the Clippers staff were doing on Leonard.

“Even robots need an oil change,” Jefferson said on the Klaw.

He still had a great game, though, posting 28 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing 5 assists. However, that wasn’t enough to beat the Celtics, who were led by Jayson Tatum (34 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists) to the promised land. In the end, they won a tight game with a 119-115 result.

The Clippers are still one of the best teams in the West and Leonard remains one of the best players in the league. As for the C’s, they’re still fighting to climb positions in the East, currently ranking 4th behind the Sixers, Bucks and Nets, respectively.
