The Miami Heat are a team that started off 6-2 this season, and they have generally been good despite their recent lopsided loss to the Boston Celtics. They are one of the best defensive teams in the league, and it’s clear that they are back for blood after having an inconsistent season last year.

Rick Ross is one of the Miami Heat’s celebrity fans. He is often at games, and he has previously stated that he believes Jimmy Butler will be able to lead the team back to greatness. Recently, Ross was asked about the Miami Heat as they are this season, and he stated that the Heat are one of the best teams in the league and that they’ve “got a lot of history to make”.

"We one of the greatest teams that's in the NBA right now"

We one of the greatest teams that’s in the NBA right now. We’re a young team, this is a special group of youngsters. We’ve got a lot of history to make. Butler, Bayo (Adebayo), Herro, Tucker, and the list could go on.

But man, I’m excited. And it’s still Heat gang. Le Spoelstra Knows-tra, Le Spoelstra Knows-tra.

There is no question that the Miami Heat have been great, in particular on the defensive end. They have a great coach in Erik Spoelstra and a player that has been playing at a superstar level in Jimmy Butler. This core has been to the Finals during the 2019-20 season as well, though they ended up losing to the LeBron James and Anthony Davis-led Los Angeles Lakers. Perhaps this is the year they get back to finish the job and win the first championship for the team since the LeBron James era in Miami.

It remains to be seen if the Miami Heat will end up doing well for the rest of the season. They added great veterans such as Kyle Lowry and PJ Tucker in the offseason. Hopefully, their moves pay off, and perhaps they could all surprise us this season.
