Russell Westbrook is forming the NBA’s newest big three in Los Angeles. He will be joining Anthony Davis and LeBron James in the Lakers, as they pursue an NBA championship. The Lakers have made a lot of signings to surround James, Davis, and Westbrook with a solid squad that can help them on the path to a championship.

The Lakers have a lot of veteran players on their team like Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, and Trevor Ariza. Many fans have criticized the Lakers for being too reliant on the veterans to help them win an NBA championship. But the Lakers also do have young players like Malik Monk and Kendrick Nunn along with Talen Horton-Tucker.

But Russell Westbrook isn’t concerned about the criticism against the team. In fact, he is utterly confident in what the Lakers can do during the season. He recently issued a warning to the rest of the league that the Lakers are coming.

He said (in very strong language) that the squad has a strong balance with good, experienced veterans that are going to wreak havoc on the rest of the league and try to destroy them.

The warning was specifically focused on the young players and squads in the NBA. Clearly, Westbrook is relishing the opportunity to take to the court with the new-look Lakers squad next season.

“We got a team full of nice experienced vets that’s gonna kick these young motherf**king a**es”

Westbrook and the Lakers will be one of the favorites to win the NBA championship next season. Much like the Brooklyn Nets, the Lakers have three All-Stars who are still playing at the highest level.

So when the new season comes, it will be interesting to see how the Lakers will perform with their new squad. Other than LeBron, AD, and THT, the whole squad is filled with new players, so they will have to build chemistry quickly to find their form.
