Russell Westbrook has struggled on the floor for the Los Angeles Lakers so far this season. Although he plays the hardest in every outing, it has not produced the desired results as the Lakers are yet to find the winning formula.

Amidst all the unease at work, Russ has taken time out to celebrate his wonderful kids as they turn three. Via an Instagram post, he sent the most heartfelt message to his daughters.

“I cherish every day and every moment I’m able to spend and watch both of you grow into the most amazing girls in the world. My babies are so beautiful inside and out, I’m lucky and grateful to be your Daddy. I love you both more than anything In this world and keep getting on momma’s nerves lol. HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY to my Skye momma and my JoJo! I LOVE YOU.”

Fans were excited to celebrate with the nine-time All-Star, but a few still took the opportunity to demand more from the player.

“Aww, So precious happy birthday, cuties looking like mom and dad so adorable what a lovely fam”

“Stay blessed Russ u are a great dad and baller I still keep my faith in u king let’s go Laker Nation”

“Beautiful family!! Happiest birthday to those cuties”

“You are truly blessed king”

“Family❤️…@russwest44 real men do wat u do….big inspiration”

“Give this baby a win for her birthday please!!”

“Soo cute now work on your shooting”

“U better go off tonight”

“I want you to WIN so bad gang!!!”

“Pls play better and aggressive on defense

“Aw…NOW GO SCORE SUM BUCKETS”

“ight brodie now avg 30 10 and 10 again please”

“Need a win tonight. Lock in”

Westbrook has recorded the most triple-doubles in NBA history. Although that goes to show how much impact he can have on a team, the Lakers are yet to benefit from his brilliance.

It has been a dismal showing for the Lakers, who are on a 3-5 run since LeBron James’ absence due to an abdominal strain. So far this season, Russ is averaging 19.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 8.8 assists. In his last outing against the Milwaukee Bucks, he registered 19 points, 15 assists, and four rebounds while shooting 43.8% from the field.
