Scott Foster Has ‘Won’ His Last 12 Playoff Games Against Chris Paul

2 Min Read

Chris Paul faced his nemesis on Sunday night, losing to him once again. The Phoenix Suns had to go against Giannis Antetokounmpo, a rejuvenated Khris Middleton, and CP3’s biggest enemy, Scott Foster.

It’s been over a month since they last saw each other, but the result is always the same. After the Bucks beat the Suns, 120-100, Paul’s playoffs record against Foster is now 0-12.

He might be ready to win the championship once and for all, but not on Foster’s watch. Back in May, Paul got some things off his chest, reminding everybody of his record against the veteran referee.

“We have to try to limit their free throw attempts. They are shooting a lot of free throws, the last game, tonight,” Paul said after the Suns lost Game 3 of the first round against the Los Angeles Lakers. “I mean, if I was a gambling man, 11 games in a row, 11 games in a row. We’ll see what happens: 11 in a row, 11 in a row is tough.”

As soon as fans learned that Foster was the referee for Sunday’s game, speculation started about the potential outcome of the match. In the end, Paul couldn’t do much against Milwaukee, losing Game 3 of the series, leading the matchup 2-1 now.

Foster remains undefeated against the Point God in the playoffs, and it’s hard to guess when his streak will come to an end.
