“Um, well, I went to the appellate court, right?… Um, went to the appellate. They got me out on appeal. And then I was on appeal for like a year. And then that appeal, they denied that appeal.”

“So my current job was out of the country so they you know, I took my passport, right? I’m still been playing in China stuff played until you hold you on so for the past five years you could have been playing in China.”

He revealed that the ankle monitor, a result of legal issues, has been a constant annoyance for him. Telfair shared insights into his legal battles, mentioning that he went through the appellate court, spending time on appeal for a year. The case eventually went to the Supreme Court, and recently, they reversed the decision. Sebastian Telfair On Getting His Mom A House

Sebastian Telfair, reflecting on his NBA career and the millions he earned during his 10 seasons, shared insights into the best and worst purchases he made. The best decision, according to Telfair, was buying a house for his mother. Despite her initial reluctance to leave their New York residence, Telfair considers this act one of his proudest moments.

On the flip side, Telfair candidly admitted that his worst purchases were everything he bought for his ex-wife, Samantha Telfair. The couple went through a divorce in 2019, with Samantha seeking sole legal and physical custody of their two children. Telfair expressed regret over the financial investments made during their relationship.
