Shannon Sharpe and Tee Morant were the talk of the town during Friday night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies. The former NFL player-turned-analyst has been an avid fan of the Lakers and LeBron James for a while now, and he doesn’t hesitate to call out people who can’t stand their ground against the King.

That’s what happened on Friday when Sharpe tried to play mind games with Dillon Brooks and the Grizzlies player wasn’t having any of that. Things escalated very quickly and Sharpe found himself getting into it with Ja Morant’s father, Tee.

This situation got out of control really fast and many Grizzlies members, including Steven Adams, went to the sidelines to face off against Sharpe, while he barked at Tee Morant and the latter did the same.

Shannon Sharpe And Tee Morant Cooled Things Off After Intense Back And Forth

This situation raised a lot of eyebrows around the NBA and drew a lot of reactions, with LeBron James siding with Sharpe on this one. Brooks called out the NFL legend, calling him a ‘regular pedestrian’, showing no love for the analyst.

On the other side, Tee Morant and Sharpe made amends quickly after that, embracing each other and smiling. These things happen during games when emotions are really high and the adrenaline is rushing through fans’ bodies. Knowing how passionate Sharpe and Morant are about their teams and favorite players, it’s understandable why they acted this way.

Fortunately, everything is cool between them now, and this situation didn’t get any worse. The Lakers snapped the Grizzlies’ 11-game winning streak with their victory, with Dennis Schroder sealing the deal for them in the last minutes of the game.

The Purple and Gold are still trying to hit the .500 mark and their fans hope that this victory is the start of something good for them. If they show the same level of commitment that Shannon showed last night, they’ll have a big chance to play for big things.
