Shaquille O’Neal Claims Golden State Warriors Won’t Make The Playoffs This Season

The Golden State Warriors entered a series of games that they can win, and so far it’s been like that. After being dismantled by the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State bounced back with two wins over the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons, respectively.

They have started to show a different face and things look more promising for them. However, not everybody is sold on the idea that the Warriors have enough talent to make it to the postseason this campaign. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is one of those, as he recently claimed the Dubs along with other teams around the league, won’t be making the playoffs. During a recent edition of TNT’s Inside the NBA, Shaq made the case against the Golden State Warriors.

He named the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State before Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith interrupted him, explaining that once Draymond Green is back, the Warriors are going to be something good to watch and they will be in the conversation to make it to the postseason (0:49 mark).

“When Draymond comes back, they are going to be in the conversation,” Barkley said.

The Warriors have struggled over the past couple of days and even though they’ve beaten the Bulls and Pistons, they need to show they are competitors against a competitive team. So far, they’ve failed against the Nets and Bucks, so the Dubs still have work to do before reaching their desired level.
