Shaquille O’Neal is regarded as one of the most dominant players in the history of the NBA by most fans. He majorly earned that reputation during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.

So much so that Shaq has rightfully earned his place on the Lakers’ all-time GOAT pyramid. During O’Neal’s time with the Lakers, the 2001 roster was arguably the best of that era. Keeping that in mind, Shaquille O’Neal recently talked about who would win between the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers and the 2013 Miami Heat.

O’Neal didn’t deny that the 2013 Heat featuring the trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, was a bad team; he simply believed there was no one on that team who would be able to guard him.

To be honest, Shaq was in the prime of his dominance during the Lakers’ three-peat era, and it would have been near impossible to stop him in his tracks. Otherwise, it would be a close competition between the two teams.
