  • Shaquille O’Neal posts an insane highlight reel of his prime
  • O’Neal’s Instagram post was in response to NBA analysts questioning his position in the top 10 NBA players of all time
  • Stephen Curry, Matt Barnes, Chris Webber, and more reacted to Shaq’s highlight reel

Shaquille O’Neal is regarded as one of the most dominant players of all time. The 7’1″ 325 pounds center toyed with the defense during the prime of his career.

Shaq won four NBA Championships, among other accolades in his career. Is he a top 10 NBA player of all time? Well, the Diesel put himself on his list of the 10 greatest basketball players of all time. NBA analyst Chris Broussard disagreed with that. In response, O’Neal posted an insane highlight reel featuring the prime of his career on Instagram.

“Chris Broussard, Stephen A. Smith, ESPN, NBA on ESPN, NBA History, NBA TV, NBA Stream, that’s why I put myself on my top 10 list. Are there any more questions?”

O’Neal was a force to be reckoned with during his prime. The above-attached highlight reel is a great example of it. Many NBA stars couldn’t help but react to the insane video.

“OMG, Diesel. Ridiculously talented and dominant,” Stephen Curry commented.

“Shaq, we know the real. Don’t need to be explained. They also know,” Stephen Jackson said.

“Most dominant ever,” former NBA player Matt Barnes declared.

“Cold,” Chris Webber had a one-word reaction to the video.

Well, it’s hard to deny O’Neal’s dominance in the NBA. Despite being over 300 pounds, O’Neal had insane agility, which allowed him to stay a step ahead of his opponents. Had he been a little bit more focused on training, Shaq could have gone down as the greatest basketball player of all time.

Shaquille O’Neal Had An Unforgettable Career

Apart from destroying his opponents regularly, Shaquille O’Neal was a proven winner. He won four NBA titles in his career. Three with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000, 2001, and 2002, and one with the Miami Heat in 2006.

For his career, O’Neal averaged 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. As for his accolades, he had four NBA Championships, three NBA Finals MVPs, one regular season MVP, 14 All-NBA Selections, three All-Defensive Selections, 15 NBA All-Star Selections, two Scoring Championships, and three NBA All-Star Game MVPs.

If that resume is not worthy of being regarded as one of the top 10 players in NBA history, what is? O’Neal is and will always remain one of the most unique players to ever play in the league, and lived up to the expectations of fans.
